Legal Framework
Enacted under the legislative powers of the National Assembly as the Ahmadu Bello University (Transitional Provisions) Act, operating alongside the Ahmadu Bello University Act (Cap A16 LFN 2004) as the principal founding statute. Supplemented by the National Universities Commission (NUC) Act and the Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act.
