Important Terms

Legal Framework
Enacted under Section 4 of the 1999 Constitution. Operates under the National Universities Commission Act Cap N81 LFN 2004, the Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, the Education (National Minimum Standards and Establishment of Institutions) Act, the Tertiary Education Trust Fund Act, and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Act.
